The Gallery

Many have asked about my Gallery, so here it goes. The Gallery is on the main street of Saugerties, NY, an 1880's village at the foothill of the Catskill Mountains. It's a great space in that it allows me to use as much space as needed for any shoot and it offers room to accommodate any size art exhibit or group.
The Gallery is open to the public Fri-Sat. 12-5 and mon-thur it reverts back to my artists workspace where I can do my portraiture and still lifes.

My next scheduled show is May 10th 5-8 of "pH 7: Seven photographers perspectives". The photographers in the show are from New York and we meet every two weeks to keep each other focused on our objectives. Its a great way
to keep the fire burning under our feet.

Platte Cove

I am sitting here with a splint on my hand after sliding 15 feet down ice covered rocks to get a better angle on photographing
the upper platte cove falls. Perhaps it's my intitiation into what my friend, Bart, a local film maker, refered to as a being a very holy place. The area does have that sensation. It's a place where the earth has opened up and one can stare into the
abyss and not care about ones' safety. I look forward this year to making it my sacred space.
I have been told that Platte Cove is a series of 12 waterfalls that starts at the top of Blue Mountain and cuts its way down 3000 feet of the Catskills.
